Growth rates in the Central Asian region around 4% make this region of great interest for Italy. Italian Export in Central Asia has significantly increased over time. Italian companies have opportunities to grow in a win-win logic. Capital goods and manufacturing service are core economic sectors. Oil and gas are the main part in imports while machinery and high technology are exported from Italy. Smart mobility and automotive industry are other important items of trade. The Italian industrial districts have developed know-how transfer experiences that are unique in the world also through training Centers.

And then there are the Italian universities that are important innovative and collaborative engines. Italy is famous for fashion, food and furniture. But it is the ability of technological innovation in traditional sectors to make opportunities attractive along the so called “Silk road”. The International Financial Institutions have a great interest to start investments in the region.
