Grafenegg [ENA] The evening of the 10th of June was a very special one. This evening marked the beginning of the recovery of cultural life in Austria after the pandemic lockdown. This event also marked the 15th year anniversary of the Grafenegg summer cultural events. These events became a real magnet for people who love music. The event became known not only in Austria but in the entire world.

„Life is beautiful“– was singing the soprano star Rachel Willis-Sørensen at the Summer Night Gala in Grafenegg, a community nearby Vienna, Austria. The opulent event with several world-renowned musicians such as the tenor Benjamin Bruns, the conductor Yutaka Sado or the pianoplayer Rudolf Buchbinder, who is also the leader and the organizer of the Grafenegg festival, opened the new season of the famous Grafenegg cultural events, including summer concerts, Grafenegg academy and Grafenegg festival.

All in this event- the special atmosphere of the magic parc with old majestic trees and singing birds, of the mysterious castle in the background, of the fantasy-full light installation of the stage and of elegant dresses of people at the event gave the visitor a similar feeling like someone has after a glass of good champaign. This was the feeling of joy, of recovery and, indeed, of that life is beautiful.

The Summer Night Gala marked the beginning of the 15th Grafenegg festival which will take place between the 13th of August and the 5th of September 2021. This festival will be certainly the highest point during the summer cultural events in Grafenegg. Rudolf Buchbinder, its leader and organizer, every year invites the world-famous music stars and this year is not an exception. The spectators of the Grafinegg festival will have a chance to enjoy extraordinary voices of opera stars such as Klassimira Soyanova, Anita Rashvelishvili, Piotr Beczala, Renée Fleming and many others excellent musicians.

The Summer Night Gala was also honoured by the presence of Mrs. Johanna Mikl-Leitner, who is the Governor of the province of Lower Austria. During her speech she highlighted the extraordinary character of this event, its international reputation, its meaning for cultural life in Austria and excellent organization even considering the restrictions of the pandemic situation.
